...that might tip the balance my way..Various responsabilities and tasks while working at Hydro-Québec,
Some other programs were also written to facilitates project management. Here's a non-exhautive list:
- In site management, as a landscape architect, gained hands-on experience in all types of landscaping project administration and realisation, from interior ressource management through exterior firms contract management to overseeing site work as a specialist.
- in Service Programmation et contrôle des coûts
Service Planification Bâtiment, Espaces administratifs et Services Généraux, as "Conseiller bâtiment", making sure estimates reflect market realities and were within 10% of the means of those submitted by subcontractors.
- Program summing up all costs done on GEXTIM estimating software, following the elemental method (Uniformat II). This method permits the regrouping of costs at different levels of details: either following the major groups (structure, exterior walls, roofing...) up to the details of the 79 distinct elements of an usual construction (doors, finishes, etc...). A first in Canada at that time.
- Program correlating costs between Uniformat II and CSI, with semi-automatic updates.
- Program calculating realisation costs from estimated construction costs, taking into account inflation and the schedule. This one gives disbursement tables, cash flows, according to years, in current dollars.
- This one also gives a parcelling out of honorariums, according to specialities and detailled lists of costs on those.
- Built in schedules, interactive on demands with MS Project
- SuiviPro, simple project follow-up automated list, underlining unanswered communications and permitting a sequential file management structure.
- Étécon, simple economic cost analyser.
- CheckBank, update automaticaly the indexation of the data bank items.
- Grad_N°, calculate thermic resistance of a wall according to the programmed description and gives the temperature curve plus dew points.
- Toit, calculate the volume of insulation going into a conventional roof drainage bassin.
- Source, budget data management, for all projects. Extensive and automated report writing capacities, plus extensive data sorting on all data types.
